    NEET 2018 Counseling: Everything You Need To Know   Posted Date:  16-03-18


    The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the NEET (National Eligibility cum Entrance Test ) results on the official website on August 16 (Tuesday). The counseling of NEET 2018 will be conducted in two rounds and it will be in online mode. The counseling will be start from August 22 to August 25, 2018 by Medical Counseling Committee (MCC). NEET 2018 counseling will be conducted for approximately 3500 MBBS and BDS seats.

     The Minimum Qualifying Criteria Of NEET-UG 2018 for All Categories Are As Follows:

     Others: Marks Range 685-145 / Qualifying Criteria - 50th / Percentile No. of Candidates - 5171329 

     OBC: Marks Range 678-118 / Qualifying Criteria - 40th Percentile / Percentile No. of Candidates 175226 

     Scheduled Castes: Marks Range 595-118 / Qualifying Criteria: 40th Percentile / Percentile No. of Candidates: 47183 

     Scheduled Tribes: Marks Range 599-118 / Qualifying Criteria: 40th Percentile / Percentile No. of Candidates: 15710 

     UR & PH: Marks Range: 474-131 / Qualifying Criteria: 45th Percentile / Percentile No. of Candidates: 437 

     OBC & PH: Marks Range:510-118 / Qualifying Criteria: 40th Percentile / Percentile No. of Candidates: 597 

     SC & PH: Marks Range: 415-118 / Qualifying Criteria: 40th Percentile / Percentile No. of Candidates: 143 

     ST & PH: Marks Range: 339-118 / Qualifying Criteria: 40th Percentile / Percentile No. of Candidates: 36

     Counseling Procedure:

    The candidates have to register themselves to the NEET 2018 on the counseling portal. 

    After registering yourself, fill the choices. The candidate can fill as many options as they wish during online choice filling. However, choices should be in order of candidates’ preference.

    Once choice is filled in, it can be modified before locking it. 

    During the choice locking period, it is necessary to lock the choices to get a print of your submitted options. If candidate does not lock the choice submitted by him/her, it will be automatically locked at 5 pm of last date of choice locking.

     

     Documents Required At The Time Of Joining: 

     Admit cards of exam issued by the CBSE 

     Result/ rank letter issued by CBSE 

     Date of birth certificate (if Metric certificate does not bear the same) 

     Class 10th Certificate 

     Class 10+2 Certificate 

     Class 10+2 Marks Sheet 

     Provisional allotment letter generated on-line. 

     Proof of identity

     Eight (8) Passport size photograph same as affixed on the application 

     form

     The candidate should also bring the following certificate, if applicable: 

     (a) SC/ST, OBC, orthopedic physical disability certificate issued by the competent authority.
