Law School Admission Test (LSAT)-India is a paper-pencil test conducted across the country by Law School Admission Council (LSAC). The test is conducted for admissions into postgraduate and undergraduate law programmes in various law schools in India. LSAT 2017 is to be conducted across 16 cities in India. LSAT exam pattern is such that aspirants have to attempt multiple-choice questions in duration of 2 hours and 20 minutes. Registration for LSAT India 2017 can be done by logging on to the official website of the college at lsat.formistry.com. Candidates can download and fill the LSAT application form on the official website of the exam. To do this, aspirants need to register with an email ID which is to be used in further proceedings of LSAT exam. The registration fee for LSAT-India is Rs 3,800. The fee can be paid either online or via demand draft/pay order/ banker's cheque. Candidates are provided with a LSAT India registration number, on completion of the registration process. LSAT India 2017 exam pattern is divided into following four sections: Analytical Reasoning. First Logical Reasoning, Second Logical Reasoning, Reading Comprehension. The LSAT India exam pattern consists of around 92-100 questions to be answered in two hours 20 minutes. The test is in multiple choice question answer format where students have to choose one correct answer from four or five given options. Marking: There is no negative marking in the exam. The official website informs. There is no negative marking or penalty for guessing. Only correct answers contribute to a candidate's score. Therefore, candidates should leave no question unanswered and guess on those questions they cannot carefully consider. The result or score for this law test is declared in the form of LSAT percentiles which is calculated after comparing each candidate performance with others in his candidate group. LSAT India scores define the critical thinking skills of a candidate as compared to other aspirants in his/her candidate pool.
As such there are no LSAT India eligibility criteria by means of which students can appear for the exam. Officials inform that aspirants only need to follow the published test rules for LSAT.
