CLAT PG 2017 –The registration process for Common Law Admission Test (CLAT) for Postgraduate programmes has commenced. The law aspirants can apply for the test until March 31, 2017. The test will be conducted by Chanakya National Law University, Patna, on May 14, 2017. There is a total of 17 National Law Universities (NLUs) in India and every year, one of the NLUs conducts CLAT for admission to UG and PG law programmes of these Universities and various other law schools.
Once the candidates are sure that they fulfill all the eligibility norms, they can start applying for the test. The application forms are expected to be released in the 1st week of January 2017 and will be available online. The candidates can access the application from this article by clicking on the sub-heading above. While filling up the application form, the candidates are advised to fill in the details carefully and make sure that they avoid making mistakes. Only the candidates submitting their complete application form before the deadline will be eligible to appear for the test.
To apply for the test, the candidates are required to get themselves registered first, by entering a valid email ID and mobile number. Once the candidates have successfully registered, they can access the application form for CLAT PG 2017. Follow the instructions below to apply for the test –
The candidates can pay the application fee for CLAT PG 2017 via online as well as offline mode. The application fee is Rs. 4000/- (ST/SC: Rs. 3500/-).
To pay the application fee via online mode, the candidates can opt for the payment via Credit/Debit Card or Net Banking.
To pay the application fee via offline mode, the candidates are required to take a printout of the E-Challan during the application process and pay the amount in cash at any ICICI branch.
The entrance test will be held in an online mode across various Indian cities. There will be a total of 150 questions and the candidates will be given 2 hours to complete the paper. 1 mark will be awarded for each correct answer, while 0.25 marks will be penalized for each wrong answer.
