AISECT Joint Entrance Examination (AJEE) is a national common entrance examination conducted for admissions to various undergraduate and postgraduate programmes(Engineering, Education, Law, Management etc) offered by AISECT University, Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh and Dr. C.V. Raman University, Bilaspur, Chhattisgarh.
The University aims to produce professionals with optimum skills and expertise for a successful career. AJEE tests the aptitude of the students for admission to the programmes and candidates will be shortlisted for these programmes based on AJEE 2017 scores. All India Merit list of the same will be declared on the official website of the University - www.aisect.org.
After the counseling sessions, admissions to various programmes will take place. For final confirmation of admissions, Government guidelines would be applicable.
The answer sheets of AJEE are machine graded with extreme care and repeatedly scrutinized, so there is no provision for re checking/ re-evaluation. The University takes care of all legal suits and actions arising out of or relating to AJEE 2017 through the jurisdiction of courts of Bhopal, Madhya Pradesh only.
The selected candidates would be required to get their documents along with them at the time of counselling for the purpose of verification. Verification would be done to serve the purpose of verifying identification, qualifying examination, age, category and eligibility of the candidate. The candidates who are failing to fulfill the verification formalities will not be considered for admission to the varsities.
Admissions to various programmes under the two universities will take place on the basis of scores attained in the entrance exam.

Registration for the AJEE 2017 exam can only be done online at the official website of the institute. Given below is the step by step registration process:
Step 1: Fill in detail the Registration form for either of the universities or both of them available at the official website of the exam - http://ajee.aisectonline.com/AJEEOnline/ajee.aspx.
Candidates must fill the Email ID and contact number in the registration form for further communication on admission.
Step 2: Select the mode of examination of your choice from Online or Offline.
Step 3: Upload a latest passport size photograph in jpg format. The maximum weight of the photo should be 100kb.
Step 4: The payment of registration fee of Rs 500 can be paid online after submitting online the completely filled in form.

The two-hour exam is conducted both in online and offline mode and encompasses 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) Aspirants have to attempt 100 question in the exam. There is no negative marking in these exams. The tests are divided into the following three sections:
The mode of examination will be bi-lingual in Hindi or in English.
Offline exam: The offline exam will be conducted in the month of April, Centers in schools or AISECT centers with the invigilation done by AISECT center. For offline exam, aspirants will be given an additional half an hour for filling up the OMR Sheet before the exam.
Online exam: The online exam will be held at AISECT Centers.
Eligibility Criteria for Bachelor Of Engineering (BE):
Candidates must have passed 12th Standard examination with subjects Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and secured minimum 45% of marks. For reserved category i.e. SC/ST/OBC candidates, the minimum secured mark is 40%.
Eligibility Criteria for Engineering Diploma Program:
Candidates must have passed 10th Standard examination and secured at minimum 35% marks.
