NTA to release exam and shift details today.
JEE Mains 2019: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the allotment of exam dates and shift details of Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) Mains 2019 today, October 5.
The exact date and shift allotted to candidates for JEE (Main) January 2019 will be displayed on the NTA websites www.nta.ac.in and www.jeemain.nic.in
Further, the city allotted to the candidates of examination for Paper-1 and Paper-2 will also be available by October 21.
JEE (Mains) 2019: Exam details
Scheme of examination:
Paper 1 (BE/BTech) of JEE (Main) 2018: This will be conducted in two separate modes i.e. offline (Pen and Paper Based Examination) mode and online (Computer Based Examination) mode.
Paper 2 (BArch/BPlanning) of JEE (Main) 2018: This will be conducted only in pen and paper based examination mode.
Further, the papers will be conducted in English and Hindi mediums, except in Gujarat, Daman and Diu, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli where the paper will also be conducted in Gujarati.
Note: The exam will be conducted in eight different sittings and the candidate can choose any one accordingly.
All those candidates who have successfully cleared the JEE (Mains) will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced exam round. Students will be allotted colleges on the basis of these two written exams.
