JEE Mains 2019 Registration to end soon   Posted Date:  28-09-18


The online registration process for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) 2019 will conclude in three days i.e. on September 30.

All the interested, eligible candidates can apply through the prescribed format on the official website, the link for which is jeemain.nic.in

How to apply for JEE Main Registrations 2019:

  • Go to the official website, jeemain.nic.in
  • Click on 'Apply for JEE(Main)-2019'
  • Fill in all the required details in the prescribed format
  • Click to submit
  • Candidates are advised to take a print-out for future reference

Notice on date and shift:

  • In this connection, it is informed that the allotment of centre, date and shift will be done after the closure of the application date through computer software as per the decision of the National Testing Agency (NTA)
  • The exact date and shift allotted to candidates for JEE (Main) January 2019 shall be displayed by the October 5 on the NTA websites www.nta.ac.in and www.jeemain.nic.in
  • Further, the city allotted to the candidates of examination for Paper-1 and Paper-2 will also be available by October 21.

Scheme of examination:

Paper 1 (BE/B.Tech) of JEE (Main) 2018: This will be conducted in two separate modes i.e. offline (Pen and Paper Based Examination) mode and online (Computer Based Examination) mode.

Paper 2 (BArch/B.Planning) of JEE (Main) 2018: This will be conducted only in pen and paper based examination mode.

Examination cities:

JEE (Main) 2019 will be conducted in major cities and towns of India as well as abroad.

Languages:

The papers will be conducted in English and Hindi mediums, except in Gujarat, Daman and Diu, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli where the paper will also be conducted in Gujarati.

Number of attempts for JEE (Main):

The number of attempts which a candidate can avail at JEE (Main) shall be limited to three.

Selection process:

All those candidates who have successfully cleared the JEE (Mains) will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced exam round. Students will be allotted colleges on the basis of these two written exams.
