The online registration process for the Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) 2019 will conclude in three days i.e. on September 30.

Scheme of examination:
Paper 1 (BE/B.Tech) of JEE (Main) 2018: This will be conducted in two separate modes i.e. offline (Pen and Paper Based Examination) mode and online (Computer Based Examination) mode.
Paper 2 (BArch/B.Planning) of JEE (Main) 2018: This will be conducted only in pen and paper based examination mode.
JEE (Main) 2019 will be conducted in major cities and towns of India as well as abroad.
The papers will be conducted in English and Hindi mediums, except in Gujarat, Daman and Diu, and Dadra and Nagar Haveli where the paper will also be conducted in Gujarati.
Number of attempts for JEE (Main):
The number of attempts which a candidate can avail at JEE (Main) shall be limited to three.
All those candidates who have successfully cleared the JEE (Mains) will be eligible to appear for the JEE Advanced exam round. Students will be allotted colleges on the basis of these two written exams.

The Joint Entrance Exam is conducted every year for candidates seeking admissions in Under Graduate Engineering programmes in the prestigious IITs, NITs, IIITs and various other CFTIs (Centrally Funded Technical Institutions) across the country.
