Haryana Police Recruitment for the vacancies of Sub Inspector and Constables post for the year 2018 will be conducted by Haryana Staff Selection Commission (HSSC). The notification for the recruitment will be released shortly on the official website. The candidates who have passed 12th class or its equivalent exam from a recognized board can apply for HSSC Police recruitment 2018 through online mode only.

This year there will be 12000 vacancies for SI, ASI and Constables. Candidates have opportunity for making their career in Haryana Police and Serve the people of Haryana State.

Haryana Police Recruitment 2018 Eligibility Criteria

The eligibility criteria are the first thing that any applicant should check before applying for an exam. For Haryana Police Constable Recruitment, the candidate must have passed 12th class or equivalent exam from a recognized board or university.

Apart from education qualification, there is also the age limit criteria and other criteria for Physical tests as well. If we talk about age limit, it should be between 18-25 years (on the first day of the month in which applications are invited). For the candidates belonging to the SC, ST and OBC & relaxation in the upper age limit of 5 years shall be given as per Police Rules.

Follow these steps to fill Haryana Police application form:

  • Visit the official website of Haryana Staff Selection Commission i.e.
  • Now click on the link “Click Here for Haryana Police Recruitment”.
  • After that click on the “Haryana Police New Vacancy 2018”.
  • A new tab will open the Haryana Police application form.
  • Now, you’ll need to fill the complete details.
  • After that generate e-challan and deposit the application fee which is Rs. 100 for general and Rs. 50 for reserved categories.

Candidates should carefully full details such as name, Date of Birth and Category, Qualification, photo & signature. Take the print out for future reference.

Number of Vacancies and Pay Scale

In recent announcement Haryana DGP has said that there will be 12000 vacancies in Haryana Police for the year 2017-18.

As per the details by the Haryana Police Department under HSSC, there are total 5532 vacancies available for 2018 among which 4500 are Male and 1032 Female openings.

If we talk about pay scale of Haryana Police Constable, after the final selection, participants will be offered Rs.9300/- to Rs. 34800/- with Grade Pay of Rs. 4800/- per month.

Haryana Police Recruitment 2018 Exam Pattern

Haryana Police Recruitment Exam will be the written test having multiple choice objective type questions. The Exam Pattern for the same is as follows:

  • There shall be one composite paper carrying 100 questions.
  • Each question shall carry 0.80 marks and thus total marks will be 80.
  • There is no negative marking.
  • The duration of test will be 90 minutes.
  • The medium of examination shall be Hindi.

The test paper shall include questions from General studies, Agriculture, Animal husbandry, Reasoning, Current affairs, Numerical ability, General science, Aptitude etc.

Haryana Police Recruitment 2018 Selection Process

The candidates will be selected on the basis of written examination. The merit list for the Haryana Police 2018 will be based in performance in the written test. The selection process includes the following processes:

  1. Knowledge Test (Written)
  2. Physical Measurement Test
  3. Physical Screening Test
  4. Scrutiny of Documents
  5. Interview-cum-Personality Test

All the candidates who have qualified the written test are called for Physical Screening Test and who qualify this, they shall be called for the Interview. Now, while making final merit list following things will be considered:

(i) Education (maximum 05 marks): Candidate with higher education such as Graduation degree shall get 03 marks while candidates with Post Graduate degree shall get total 05 marks.

(ii) NCC Certificate (maximum 03 marks): Candidate having NCC certificate of A, B or C, level shall also get 01, 02 and 03 marks respectively. Or if they have Haryana Cadet Corps (HCC) Certificate of A or B level, they shall get 01 and 03 marks respectively.

Candidates who qualify the Physical Test shall be called for Interview-cum-Personality Test. Interview test shall be of total 12 marks. Qualifying interview means you are selected and you will be called for document verification.

At the time of document verification, the candidates are supposed to bring their original documents.

Haryana Police Recruitment 2018 Cut-off

After the completion of the selection process, HSSC will shortly release the Haryana Police Constable Result 2018 on their official website. The Cut-Off marks are the minimum marks to get qualify in an Exam. Those Candidates who will score higher than Cut-Off will be qualified.
