AIEED is All India Entrance Examination For Design is an entrance exam, which is conducted to enroll the students in several Undergraduate and Post-graduate design courses. This exams aim at testing the candidates aesthetic sense, innovative creativity as well as design sensitivity to enhance their skills by offering these courses once they are qualified. All India Entrance Examination for Design is conducted both in online as well as offline modes, but both modes of tests are conducted at specified centers only.
Eligibility Criteria For Under-Graduate Courses:
Candidates who have appeared for/cleared Class 10+2 (CBSE/ICSE/IB/State Board/NIOS or equivalent as per UGC Guidelines) are eligible to write AIEED Exam.
As per Pearson-Edexcel norms, all candidates 16 years and above are eligible for the International Undergraduate level course.
10+1 class students can also write AIEED 2017-18/. The candidates who qualify the exam will be eligible for direct admission after clearing the interview.
Eligibility Criteria For Post-Graduate Courses:
It is mandatory that students applying for PG level Design courses of 2 years time duration need to complete their Under-Graduate Design course from the relevant discipline.
Candidates 19 years and above are eligible for the Strategic Management & Leadership Programme and Design Management Programmes. Here no other previous learning achievements are considered as requirements for admission.
MBA aspirants can directly apply for Strategic Design Management and Strategic Management & Leadership on the basis of CAT/MAT scores. They also will have to clear the AIEED exam and the Interview and submit their Statement of Purpose (SOP) prior to the Interview.
