Symbiosis Entrance Test (SET) is a common written test for the admission processes of undergraduate institutes of Symbiosis International University [SIU]. Each Symbiosis institute has its independent selection process

The candidates will be shortlisted on the basis of their performance in SET. The shortlisted candidates will have to appear for institute specific Group Exercise/Personal Interview/Written Ability Test rounds
Students will get the SET 2017 Application Form via online process through the official website. The application form has been released on 26th December 2016 and will be available till 13th April 2017. Candidates are required to take the printout of the application form and keep it safe for further references.
The application fee is Rs.1500/-. Applicants can pay the fee using Credit Card, Net Banking, Indian Bank Net Banking, Cash and Demand Draft. The application fee is Rs. 1000 per programme. Candidates, those wish to pay the fee through cash, they can submit the fee from any branch of Indian Bank/Axis Bank. Those pay fee via DD, they can submit the fee from any nationalized bank in the favor of “Symbiosis Test Secretariat” payable at Pune.
The questions are based on these subjects: General English (40 marks), Quantitative (40 marks), General Awareness (40 marks), Analytical and Logical Reasoning (30 marks). Subjects may differ according to the opted programs.

The candidates should be graduates in any discipline from a recognized institute or university with minimum 50% marks for general category candidates and 45% marks for SC and ST category candidates.
The candidate should have passed XII (10+2) examination from any recognized Board with a minimum of 45% marks (40% for S.C. /S.T. candidates). Students who have appeared for their Standard XII final examination and are awaiting results are also eligible to apply, subject to submission of passing certificate at the time of the final admission.
Maximum age limit for five year course is 20 years for general category and 22 years for SC/ST and Other Backward Communities.
The total intake is 300 seats [Inclusive of 180 seats of B.B.A, LL.B (Hons.) and 120 seats of B.A, LL.B (Hons.)
B.A., / B.B.A. L.L.B (Hons.):
Separate Merit Lists for B.B.A, LL.B (Hons.) and B.A., LL.B (Hons.) programme will be prepared and published. At the time of SET registration, it shall be mandatory for the candidates to clearly indicate the programme to which they wish to apply. The candidates can also apply to both the programmes by paying Rs. 1,000/- separately for each of them.
Note: It is suggested that those candidates who have studied arts/social sciences subjects for their qualifying examination may apply for B.A, LL.B (Hons.) programme. Similarly, those candidates who have studied commerce/accounts/mathematics/sciences may apply for B.B.A, LL.B. (Hons.) programme. Further, the candidates are also free to make their own choice depending on their ability, interest and opportunity. Please note that these two programmes differ only in the First Degree contents (either Humanities OR Business Studies), same Law courses are offered in both the programmes. Graduates in both streams are eligible for diverse legal careers and opportunities in Corporate, Litigation, Civil Services, Advocacy, Judiciary, Academics, jobs in International Organizations, International Admissions and others.
