Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) is a national level aptitude test conducted in India by Xavier Labour Relations Institute (XLRI). XAT is a national-level pen and paper based management aptitude test. The XAT score is considered by almost 110 business schools for admission to PGDM programmes in India.

XLRI Jamshedpur offers the following management programmes: Business Management (BM; Human Resource Management (HRM), Global Business Management(GBM), General Management Programme (GMP).
Candidates not interested in any of the XLRI programmes can skip this step, informed the official website.
Test Fees; XAT exam fees is Rs 1500 for all candidates.
Mode of Payment; There are three modes of payment: Candidates need to fill the following information in the registration process. Candidates should print out all the XAT Confirmation page for future correspondence with XAT office.
Admit cards will be uploaded on the official website of XAT 2017.
The total time duration of XAT will be of 3 hours. The exam will be paper-pencil based. There is negative marking of 1/4 mark for each wrong answer.
The question paper will be divided into following parts:-
Essay Writing 1 Topic (Mandatory)
Candidate should have Recognized Bachelor’s degree of minimum three years duration or equivalent in any discipline. Final year students (completing final examination by June 10, 2017) can also apply. The eligibility for XLRI programmes like Human Resource Management (HRM), Business Management (BM) is similar. Candidates with three years of work experience will be given preference in Global Business Management.
