Indian Institute of Plantation Management was established in the year. Institute is jointly sponsored by the plantation sector & the Commodity Boards like Tea Board, Coffee Board, Spices Board, Rubber Board, and Plantation Associations, viz. Indian Tea Association (ITA) and UPASI. The institute offers programs in plantation sector & other associated agri-business sector. It offers with PGDM- ABPM (approved by AICTE), FPM (Fellow Program in Management) in ABPM, certificate course in Tea Tasting and Marketing (PCP-TTM) etc. The students of the institute are educated by experienced faculty and by some distinguished faculty from renowned institutions. Facts and Figures: Established in 1993 Registration Karnataka Society Registration Act Library The institute has a spacious and well stocked library with modern facilities & internet access. The library has about 8000 books related to subjects, about 140 Journals in addition to several audio/video cassettes & CDs for the students. Computer center The institute has a well equipped computer center. The computer center has about 30 high speed processors.
